Garland Hume
Owner & Lead Instructor
Garland began his yoga journey in January 2007 and completed the 9-week Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Waikiki in the fall of 2007. In 2010 he became co-owner of two Bikram Yoga studios in Richmond, VA, before moving to Kauai in 2017 and opening Kauai Hot Yoga. Garland competed in yoga from 2009–2020 and served as Board President of USA Yoga, the national sporting organization, from 2017–2020. He has since expanded his teaching to Inferno Hot Pilates, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Sound Bath, and Reiki. His mission is for every student to leave feeling like they had one of the best yoga experiences of their life.

Marvin Nunez
Instructor
Marvin has been practicing Bikram Yoga since the summer of 2003. He began his practice as a way to heal old injuries, but yoga ended up changing his life in ways he couldn't imagine. He became a certified instructor in the spring of 2011 and has been loving and living the yogi lifestyle ever since, teaching full time.

Will Glass
Instructor
Will Glass began his yoga teaching journey in 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona, quickly joining the schedules of top Vinyasa studios including Modern Yoga, Lifepower Yoga, and Montelucia Resort. After visiting Kauai every year for half a decade, he relocated his family to the island in the winter of 2017 and has since taught regularly on the beach at Kauai Shore Hotel. Will teaches a variety of levels and specializes in his signature "Will Power" class — a blend of asana and calisthenics designed to help students lengthen, strengthen, balance, and breathe.

Erica Rideau
Instructor
Erica has been teaching yoga since 2011. Her first training was in Ashtanga Vinyasa as taught by Sri K. Pattabi Jois. She went on to teach for two non-profit organizations — The Art of Yoga Project and Niroga — bringing yoga to underserved teenagers and incarcerated youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. That work shaped her voice and purpose as a teacher. Now on Kauai for several years, Erica teaches classes that are holistic and wholesome, placing deep emphasis on the breath and connection to the body. Her guiding principle: 'Every breath counts. Every breath matters.'

Pamela Salibi
Instructor
Pamela has practiced many styles and teachings throughout her adult life, beginning with Baptiste Yoga in 2011 before earning her 200-hour teaching certification through the Baptiste Institute. She has also studied Vinyasa, Hatha, Chair Yoga, and is certified in Yin and Restorative. Her teaching style is positive, upbeat, and fun — with a main goal of inspiring people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and walks of life to experience the many joys and benefits of a devoted yoga practice.

Cheyenne Tilford
Yoga Sculpt Specialist
Cheyenne has been teaching yoga for over 10 years, having started at age 17. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in Chicago and her yoga sculpt teacher training in Dallas, TX. When she isn't on the mat, Cheyenne teaches elementary school at Kapa'a Elementary on Kauai. Her yoga sculpt classes are a full-body workout incorporating core work, push-ups, squats, cardio, and yoga flows — always fun, empowering, and energetic.

Harper Ness
Instructor
Harper Ness believes yoga should be accessible to every body and designs her classes to suit all levels. An integral part of her style is incorporating new shapes by taking traditional poses and adding creative variations. Her 400 hours of teacher training took place in Rishikesh, India and her hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah. Initially drawn to yoga for its foundation in movement, she connected deeply to the practice upon discovering the philosophy woven throughout it. Harper is driven by personal connection and spreading kindness and acceptance to all she encounters.

Natalie Segal
Instructor
Natalie started falling in love with yoga around 2015 in West Palm Beach, Florida, and became certified to teach in 2017. For her, yoga creates a presence that nothing else can match — the breathwork woven into movement makes the only thing that matters the current moment. In her classes she keeps a steady, mellow flow infused with creative variations. Every class is different, and she always incorporates movement designed to leave students feeling more flexible and tranquil.

Nyisha Rylander
Instructor & Health Coach
Yoga has been part of Nyisha's life for nearly three decades. What began as a way to heal after a car accident has grown into a lifelong practice and career that continues to inspire her. An RYT-500, she has studied with Leslie Perlman, Jason Crandell, and Sage Rountree. Her teaching style blends strength with mindfulness — creative, steady-paced flows where there is space to move, breathe, and connect more deeply with the body. Nyisha is also a health coach, passionate about supporting others in their healing journeys.

Julie Garthwaite
Instructor
Julie was introduced to yoga after seeking rehabilitation for a broken leg in her early twenties — a decision that changed her life entirely, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. She earned her 200 RYTc in 2018 from Seasons Holistic Arts while studying Philosophy and Holistic Wellness at Ohio University, and her 500 RYTc in November 2022 from Vikasa Yoga Academy in Koh Samui, Thailand. She continues to train with teachers from around the world in physical practice, philosophy, meditation, and breathwork. Julie believes that connection to self and creative flow are two of the most important human experiences.
